Bigpoint presents Game of Thrones at GDC

Bigpoint, German online game developer behind The Mummy Online and Battlestar galactica Online, is currently working on a brand-new MMO Game of Thrones. Although the release date is not announced yet, a first-look into the game is scheduled to come out at the forthcoming Game Developers Conference.

Set in the medieval times of Westeros and its Seven Kingdoms, the game gets a theme from the homonymic TV show based on George R.R. Martin’s epic fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire. Fans have been quite excited at this crossover collaboration between Bigpoint and HBO, by which they will be enabled to be more personally immersed in this role-playing game.

According to Heiko Hubertz, CEO of Bigpoint, the development team is striving to provide a true-to-life gaming experience, aiming to strengthen the players’ power during game progression.
