City of Might
- Release Date:
With so many similar military strategy games released on Facebook, how does Playdom produce City of Might to attract social gamers?
At this year’s E3, Playdom, the maker of City of Wonder, unveiled a new strategy social MMO, available both at Facebook and Playdom platform itself. According to the person familiar with City of Might, this upcoming game resembles City of Wonder in terms of gameplay, and strategy. But it also exists to compete against other military games like Global Warfare, Army Attack, and Operation Gamma 41.
The basic gameplay:
Players, in City Of Might, could start with a small city (a relatively static map) where they should build related buildings to produce resources, recruit commanders, train armies, and make weapons by doing research.
As a social game, City of Might strictly requires players to interact with each of every of them in the game, but that does not mean they are all living in harmony. The best and absolute policy is to expand and conquer other bases that are maintained by other players. These bases can be found in the game map.
In City of Might, players can also join a powerful alliance that is formed by those so-called hardcore gamers, but if you are one of them, you can create your own and recruit members to team battle in the battlefield.
The game runs in real-time like all other Playdom’s games.
