The social games maker ngmoco is part of social game vanguard and part of mobile gaming producer, especially in Japan. The company has successfully brought up to 20 titles to iOS and android.
In 2010, ngmoco was acquired by Japan-based DeNA, and in 2012 the company has successfully rolled out DragonCraft, which turns out to be a free mobile game with the combo of RPG and RTS.
As the title suggests, the game in part centers on Dragons. The creatures, once killed, will have a chance to drop some items that can be used to refine armor and weapon, although the Dragons are hardly seen in the game.
DragonCraft unfolds with an engaging storytelling and an animated action flip, bringing players into a fantasy world where they are able to manage farm, train army and ultimately go to wars.
The gameplay itself seems not be attractive as it is, and what the developers proudly spotlight lies in the fact that the game supports multiplayer and role playing at the same time, and especially it is available on iOS.
When it comes to battle system, the game employs a mechanic of “rock, paper, scissors” under which players can randomly choose different troops, magical or physical, to attack the incoming invaders.
In an interview with Games.com, the maker also unveiled they were planning to add some social options to the game, but they would prefer to focus the core experience they may offer right now.
