Fishao (Known as Fish Always Online) is a massive multiplayer online fishing RPG where players make new friends, go fishing, join online fishing tournaments to compete against other players across the world.
The game will be playable on social platforms and on FISHAO.COM in 2013.
Fishao combines some gameplay elements of Pokémon and Animal Crossing!
When you signup Fishao, you will create your character by choosing your gender, skin color, haircut and clothing and you will be ready to play. After this process you will see the world map where you choose an area to start fishing. When choosing an available area to fish you are ready to start playing FISHAO and catch your first fish!
A tutorial starts automatically and will explain you the first steps you need to take in FISHAO. (Catching your first fish, talk to a NPC for example).
You can fish in a lot of areas, every area contains different fishes that you can catch by using the right equipment. (Fishes don’t like all bait!) After you catch a fish you will gain experience points, you will need them to rise in level. But which level do you need till you’re able to access an area where you can catch a shark? You should find out! Levels are infinite.
In a real-time map (area), you will walk around, fish, make friends and chat with a lot of other fishermen and fisherwomen. You will compete with the rest of the world to catch as much as possible, big and different (rare) fishes. There are over 151 fishes available in the world of FISHAO.
As said before, FISHAO stands for “FISH ALWAYS ONLINE”. And that is the goal of the game! Keep people playing as long as possible. For a player, goals in the game can be: winning a fishing tournament, reach a very high level, unlock new areas or equipment, and catch a lot of rare / big fishes.
