GamersFirst Confirmed Fallen Earth as Free to Play post-apocalyptic MMO
Jun 17,2011 06:06 by Sara Lau2
It was rumoured and is now confirmed that GamersFirst took over the re-development of post-apocalyptic MMO Fallen Earth and is changing its business model to the Free to Play, according to the person associated with GamersFirst and Reloaded Productions.
As we mentioned recently that GamersFirst had already taken over the operation of All Points Bulletin, named the free to play version as APB: Reloaded. In June 16, the post-apocalyptic pre-order MMO Fallen Earth was officially announced as “free to play“.
This change in business model would see a new rising wave of free to play, with more or less expensive items, and weapons. Players, in upcoming Fallen Earth reloaded, are able to play full version with no time or content limits yet “reward points”.
Several details are still yet to be finalized (as the specific content of the shop or the exact amount of each bid) and to date, it remains unclear when the offer “Free to Play” will be available. But we expect that we’ll learn more soon and that the change of business model is likely to attract new players in Fallen Earth.
