Lucent Heart is a highly social MMORPG that’s being brought over from Japan by Gamania Digital Entertainment (where it has won multiple awards). There is a heavy anime influence to its art style and it features integrated matchmaking and horoscope systems, which play into the RPG gameplay.
Horoscope System: Each player’s Zodiac sign (determined by their birthday) affects their stats and skills. Not only will they get buffs as a daily horoscope (bringing certain class affinities), they gain powerful Zodiac abilities and armor that are specific to their star sign — affording players a personalized experience while they level up and explore Acadia.
Matchmaking System: In Lucent Heart, “Cupid” can pair up players of the opposite sex based on specific matchmaking characteristics. Lucent Heart is meant to be a social experience and the matchmaking feature is a unique spin on the normal grouping system. Couples are encouraged to go on lighthearted “dates” after being paired, and as they level up and quest together they gain access to specific couple-only buffs, items, and areas which further enhance the gameplay. Couples can even culminate their relationship through in-game marriage.
Same-Sex Relationships (NDA): This feature is yet-to-be-announced (NDA), and will be just one of the updates included in the new client. Gamania is happy to add support for same-sex couples in the game, encouraging all players to freely express themselves.
The world of Lucent Heart is filled with more content than I am able to list here (pets, mounts, bosses, outfits, crafting, dungeons, etc). Therefore, I have attached a fact sheet and media, and would be happy to get you any additional information you require.
