Moorhuhn Combat is an online game developed by Bigpoint for web browsers, inspired by German casual game Moorhuhn franchise (Also known as “Crazy Chicken” for English-speaking Gamers). Your aim is to
catch up on the most powerful and strongest grouse and hit the high score in the given time. The game was launched in september 15, 2011 under the subdomain moorhuhn.bigpoint.com, but it will redirect you to moorhuhn.bild.de after you log in the game.
Unlike the PC and Nintendo DS versions, Moorhuhn Combat (browser game) allows chicken-looking fighters or shooters to purchase add-valued items through Bigpoint’s Currency: Virtual Coins, which can be bought using real money. The business model obeys what Bigpoint utilizes in other games like Skyrama, Zoomumba and Ramacity. Of course, players are able to earn premium memberships or virtual goods such as weapons and armor if they wish to progress faster by using useful items. The model has been criticizing by hardcore gamers for the imbalanced and unhealthy gameplay, that is “Pay to Win”.
It also supports cooperative combat among chicken friends. For example, they can shout on the world chat and summon a group of gamers to team up for shooting monsters. Remember, there is security zone where you can protect your grouse (chicken) from being attacked? More often than not, some menus mask the game function. It’s annoying when the grouse is involved in a fight even your character never noticed it. The death of the grouse could cause you to lose valuable armor.
Note: Currently the game is only available for German language and, Bigpoint has also launched a Facebook page for Moorhuhn Combat. Chances are it will de made for a Facebook app.
