Developed by YNK Interactive, R.O.H.A.N.: Blood Feud (Rohan Online) is a free fantasy MMORPG mainly revolving PvP combat, quest & mission exploring, and pet raising. Players can choose from seven different races, which stand for seven distinct classes, so as to experience various systems like crafting, forging, enhancing, and Vengeance.
God creates the Earth in seven days and presents it to Ian, the creator of five different minor gods that further bring about five different races inhabiting in separated regions of Rohan continent patrolled by the dragon. Then in the long passage of time, another two races come into being to join the already chaotic wars. All races have their own axes to grind and monsters made by them also turn back to their creators to make the land of Rohan all the more dangerous. This is the beginning of Rohan story.
To be exact, the race of Human is equal to Knight, a tanking role good at melee combat; Elf represents Healer, a major supporting race powerful in healing and buffing teammates with offensive spells; Half Elf is equivalent to Archer, unravel in ranged damage wit bows or crossbows; Dhan amounts to Assassin, famous for stealthy attack and dexterous evasion; Dekan is known as Dragon Fight, able to transform into dragon and drain opponent’s health point; Dark Elf is tantamount to Mage with powerful spell casters; and Giant is also Warrior, another melee attacker wielding two-handed weapons to inflict heavy damage on more than one enemy.
Although the choice of race or class is limited, Rohan Online compensates the limited choice with a complicate, rich skill tree for each race, and after level thirty, players can switch their occupation into higher level.
Focusing on PvP, “R.O.H.A.N.: Blood Feud” includes quite a few interesting systems and modes. In the Honor Ranking system, there are Hit List system, Vengeance system and Honor PvP Reward system which all contribute to create a fair fighting environment for players to settle personal grudges. Hit List system not only tracks players’ PvP stats with the name list of once met opponents, killed or killer, but also alerts players when those once winning over them appear online, so that players once killed can teleport right to the foe to revenge the early shame.
Mind you, if the opponent is really stronger than you, you can gather a party to help, so play bravely and play smartly too. And of course, rewards will be allotted according to the result of battle, transferring items no matter earned from killing monsters or from defeated enemies.
Apart from the personal duels, players can also form guilds to fight the larger-scale township battle, in which victorious guild acquiring most points by killing opponents and defending one’s strongholds will become the ruler of the conquered towns and levy taxes there too.
But there is requirement to register into the guild wars that the guild has to reach at least Level 30 with at least 30 members and masters of the guild should also register at the ‘Township Battle Mediator’ as well. Dungeons are varied too. While the defeated guild can enter the Invasion Dungeon, all players can equally engage in the instanced Elemental Dungeon to face the five elements.
Besides the core play around PvP, assistant systems are a lot to provide diversified activities, such as the six-member Partying to hunt large, ferocious monsters, raising pets to enhance combat performance, hunting, crafting materials after extracting from vegetation, minerals or gemstones, as well as forging rare and unique weapons by combining general ones.
