Rising City is a browser-based city-building simulator. This game, developed by Bigpoint whose RamaCity of the same genre has failed, is a new attempt on the city managing front.

In Rising Cities, players will take over a metropolis and cover every respect of the city development: upgrade the city hall, construct residential houses, entertain citizens, collect revenues from buildings of different functions, and employ your revenues in infrastructures and public expenditures.

Resources can never be ignored when it comes to management of a city. Expand your farmlands, collect rocks, chop down trees as well as gather enough ores. Never forget to upgrade the facilities that process those resources so as to obtain abundant materials to supply your citizens with food and necessities. Also you won’t want to miss the power plant. All those resources and power you produce are further utilized in the industry to roll in money.

However, nothing would happen if you only have yourself dedicated to the city. It’s a must to attract people to settle down in your city and earn for a living. To that end, you’ve got to build enough houses, bars, cinemas, and other facilities.

With lots of structures to construct, you’d better make a wise use of your land, resources and money to achieve the best results at the minimum costs. Beyond that, you can visit the market and trade with other players for materials and commodities you need.
