Robotanika

Robotanika is an upcoming robot-themed tower defense shooter from Sri Lanka-based game developer Dawn Patrol Games.

In the game, players will control a fighting machine named Peaches, equip it with various weapons and combat against 100 waves of opposing robots – that is, of course, when you can stay alive after all the attacks.

Remember how awful it is when you play a fast-paced action game when only three or four enemies are in your view while the others, no matter how close they are, remain out of sight until you are injured? Well, that’s not going to happen in Robotanika, which is powered by Unreal Engine. And instead of presenting everything in amazingly realistic graphics, the game manages to allow players to have over ten enemy robots in view at a time, which helps decrease the possibility of a surprise attack.

The waves get increasingly difficult as you progress, which necessitates the purchases of advanced weapons, shields and health potions. To that end, you need to earn enough credits by keeping your Peaches as safe as possible.

Robotanika would be the first title from Dawn Patrol Games. And it will land on iPad in November.
