Street Fighter x Tekken Mobile

Street Fighter x Tekken Mobile is a crossover fighting mobile game from Capcom designed for iOS platform exclusively. The game features characters like Ryu and Chun-Li from the Street Fighter franchise and Kazuya and Nina from the Namco’s Tekken series.

Review:

Street Fighter x Tekken Mobile maintains much of what the console version essentially features, while adding a few changes specifically for iOS touch-screen and retina-display.

In the mobile version of Street Fighter x Tekken, you can still use the virtual stick to perform actions like Puch, Kick and Special movement to create 3D jaw-dropping animations and special combos.

There is a new system called “Gem Roulette”, which gives you a chance to get a random power-up by spinning the roulette when using the Launcher Attack.

The tag team of the game basically keeps the same with the console version. And most of the times, you control one character, but you can summon up your secondary character as your partner to inflict devastating damage to rivals.

Compared to Street Fighter x Tekken, the mobile version feels like a demo with a small number of characters and less contents from both franchises. The team seems too hasty to make the mobile SFxT game, but ends up with less contents and characters. One striking feature is the 3D models throughout the game.
