SWTOR EU community confirmed the SWTOR release date is slated for 20. December, ahead of two days from previous  22. December.

BioWare writes on the official website: “BioWare and LucasArts are pleased to announce that the new, worldwide release date for Star Wars The Old Republic will be on December 20, 2011. Unlike previously announced plans, the new plan is aimed to bring the game simultaneously to North America and select European countries.”

In September of this year, Sony Online Entertainment announced that it will start offering the online role-playing game DC Universe Online in late October a Free to Play addition. However, at that time it was not yet known when exactly the free version of the MMO is available.

The answer to this question, Geoff Johns (DC Comics) and Sony Online Entertainment confirmed to G4TV in an interview: people can download the client of DC Universe Online for free and immediately plunge into the game from 19 October 2011. From this point, players can then choose whether to use the free version or still want to pay the premium version with a monthly fee yet without restrictions .
